Android Jelly Bean Skin Pack For Windows 7

Turns Your PC Into An Android Like Tablet The programs in question are: RocketDock (skinnable Windows equivalent to OS X’s Dock), Xwidget for Jelly Bean-like widgets, extra icons, Win7BootUpdater for changing the boot screen, ResourceHacker for modifying .res files in Windows, Moveex for replacing / moving .dll files, and a Universal Theme Patcher.

Size : 24.43MB

You just have to download the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. It will guide you through different settings with ease. After that, you have to restart your PC to enjoy the Jelly Bean-like experience. Everything from the boot screen, login page to the desktop and Window UI gets a different look. You also get a really nice set of widgets for Time, Weather, Google Search and Music.

Android Jelly Bean Skin is available in the form of a free download. It works on Windows 7 Home Premium (and above) 32 / 64 bit; for Starter and Home Basic, you need to install a separate patch to enable Aero.
I’ll be brutally honest about it: I am not a fan of transformation / skin packs on both desktops and mobile devices. I have two reasons for this. Firstly, using these packs usually has a dramatic effect on system performance. Secondly, if your reason to transform one operating system into another is for looks and looks alone: it’s going to be a big disappointment because no matter how much work is done on a transformation pack, it is not going to look as good as the source. What happens is that you get a operating system that looks like an ugly mix of the worst of both worlds.
But, of course, that is my own opinion. You may have an altogether different one and I will completely respect that.

With that in mind, let’s discuss a new Windows to Android transformation pack we came across earlier today. Simply named the Android Jelly Bean Skin Pack for Windows 7, the transformation pack includes a bunch of different programs that, when used together, give Windows 7 an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-like look.

The programs in question are: RocketDock (skinnable Windows equivalent to OS X’s Dock), Xwidget for Jelly Bean-like widgets, extra icons, Win7BootUpdater for changing the boot screen, ResourceHacker for modifying .res files in Windows, Moveex for replacing / moving .dll files, and a Universal Theme Patcher.

Download Android Skin Pack for Windows 7

Android Skin Pack 1.0 transforms your desktop, disguising the start menu as a notification bar, and adding a launcher dock at the bottom of your screen (albeit with several more icons than its Android counterpart).

Size : 28.86MB

The pack also comes with a variety of familiar Android icons, a stylish wallpaper, and even spruces up your computer's boot screen.

The theme is a fun tweak for those PC users who have been yearning for a taste of Android on their desktop, and can be implemented using a handy installer package available for download here, and don't worry - if you get tired of the theme, it can be uninstalled easily, and Windows will revert back to normal.Typically, I'm not very interested in theming for Windows, and I resist change to my desktop configuration as much as possible. I was convinced today, however, to give it a try with Android Skin Pack 1.0 from Xelent Gallery.

Free Download VistaMizer Latest Version for Windows XP

VistaMizer is a software utility that offers an alternative to Windows XP users who like Vista’s interface but cannot upgrade to this OS because of various reasons.

Before setting up VistaMizer on their PC, users are required to choose if they prefer to install it as a normal app, also including an uninstaller, or if they want to patch their existing Windows installation without being able to undo the operation (unless the OS is reinstalled, of course) - however, they can create a bootable CD that can be used at a later time.

When the normal setup is chosen, once can choose to automatically create a restore point, then specify the items they want to personalize. To ensure a complete Vista-like experience, it is recommended to leave the default settings on, then restart the computer when the process is completed.

After reboot, all icons and fonts are revamped, and Windows XP has a fresh new look, hardly resembling the old one. All the standard Windows apps, such as Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player or Notepad have been updated to look like Vista's, along with the Start Menu and the Control Panel.
